I have worked for Seco support now since February last year, I originally applied for the role of support worker and I have worked my way up my current role as Area manager. I can honestly say every day is different and very rewarding.
The company are very person centred and relationship based meaning the people we support are always at the forefront of everything we do, but as much as the people we support are important to us staff are also just as important. The training provided is excellent, the induction process is through and staff are supported throughout their recruitment and onwards in their roles
I nearly did not attend the interview for this post as I was not sure if I wanted to remain in care but I can honestly say I am so glad I did!
