Seco Support are pleased to announce that we are now members of the Restraint Reduction Network.
The Seco team have been working hard behind the scenes to achieve ‘Restraint Reduction Member’ status. This involved incorporating six core strategies to enable the culture change necessary in the organisation to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
These six strategies were developed through extensive literature reviews and dialogues with experts who have successfully reduced the use of seclusion and restraint in a variety of settings. They have been adopted internationally as best practice for organisations who wish to reduce their use of restraint.
