I have worked for Seco support now since February last year, I originally applied for the role of support worker and I have worked my way up my current role as Area manager. I can honestly say every day is different and very rewarding. The company are very person centred and relationship based meaning the people we support are always at the forefront of everything we do, but as much as the people we support are important to us staff are also just as important. The training provided is excellent, the induction process is through and staff are supported throughout their recruitment and onwards in their roles. I nearly did not attend the interview for this post as I was not sure if I wanted to remain in care but I can honestly say I am so glad I did!

I joined Seco Support 13 Months ago after 22 years in Retail and it was the best decision I have ever made. I have been made to feel so welcome by everyone, and am learning new skills on the job everyday. Getting to be part of a team where everyone is so passionate about what they do is truly special. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.

I’ve worked for Seco since April 2021 and I can honestly say I couldn’t be happier. I have never previously worked somewhere where I’ve felt listened to, my opinions valued and really part of a team. Since I have started with Seco, I’ve had so much training including an NVQ which they funded. They encourage career progression and will support you to reach your goals with regular supervisions and appraisals annually. They model everything they do on relationship based practice and this shows in the way all staff are supported and trained to deliver the best possible support to each individual. Management are approachable and knowledgeable and always happy to help if you have an issue or question. I couldn’t ask for a better employer!
