We are recruiting Support Workers for Anna who lives in her own home in Rowde.

  • Salary  £13.00 per hour plus sleep in allowance  
  • Flexible shift pattern of day and sleep ins, we are looking for both contracted staff members as well as bank/ flexible shift patterns.

About Anna

Anna lives in her own home supported by a team of support workers who need to be able support Anna her with her medical needs resulting from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. EDS is a rare genetic disorder which means that Anna uses a wheelchair for mobility and has medical needs including a super pubic catheter. Anna also has Autism and wants a team around her to understand what her Autism means for her and support her to respect and live the live she chooses.

Anna has a great sense of humour and is assertive and confident about what she wants from her team. Anna is a skilled craftswoman and makes all sorts of cards and gifts suing card, fabric and wool. Anna lives with Poppy, the coolest cat, so her team must love cats if they want to be part of Anna’s team. Anna is passionate about the rights of people living with a disability and campaigns for equality of rights for issues such as accessing the community for wheelchair uses. Anna likes to play computer games on all platforms.
