Simon Cook, Director

Hi – I’m Simon, Director and Co-founder.

I’ve worked in the adult and social care sector for 18 years and am a qualified Learning Disabilities Nurse and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I’m a huge advocate of the relationship model and have successfully moved people out of hospital and into their own homes in the community throughout the UK.

I specialise in risk management and have gained a number of specialist qualifications which allows us to safely support people in the community who may be seen as complex in their diagnoses or behaviours. Those qualifications include;

  • HCR-20 (Historical Clinical Risk Management)
  • ARMIDILO-S (the Assessment of Risk and Manageability of Individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Limitations who Offend)
  • SOTSEC-ID (The Sexual Offender Treatment South East Collaborative – Intellectual Disability)

Marcel Seip, Director

Hi – I’m Marcel, Director and Co-founder.

My route into the Supported Living sector is not your traditional one.  I was a professional footballer for 18 years, playing in the top divisions in my native Holland and Australia, as well as the Championship in the UK.

During the last few years of playing I thought carefully about life after football. Having already started a property company with Simon, specialising in bespoke homes for people with disabilities, I saw there was a desperate need for truly person centered support, and that’s when Seco was born.

Having worked in this sector for 10 years now I am truly in awe at the kindness and empathy of our team, and it’s been such a privilege to watch the people we support flourish and thrive.

My goals – to ensure people are getting great lives and systems work around people.

Lian Abiye

Hi – I’m Lian, Registered Manager.

I started in social care 30 years ago, having first hand experience of family with learning disabilities and mental ill health, seeing the barriers people can come across in day to day life.

I started as a home care worker visiting people in their own homes, moving through the social care sector to my current role.

I have experience in a number of areas within child and adult social care such as Learning Disabilities and Autism, Neuro Rehab, Modern Slavery, Mental Health, Addiction and many more.

I have a passion for ensuring people live the life they choose to the fullest & promoting positive meaningful relationships.

Stacey Hext

Hi – I’m Stacey, Head of Administration.

I started working for Seco Support almost 2 years ago as an Administrator having been in the Health and Social care sector for about 3 years. I brought with me over 8 years of administration experience from various different sectors. Having first-hand experience of the difficulties that people with Learning Difficulties, Mental Health conditions and Autism face, I relished the opportunity to be part of a team that is changing the way people are supported and allowing everyone to live the life they want.

The Administration department is a small and varied department with just myself and our administrator Emma Dennis supporting the full organisations administration. We support everything from the recruiting of new staff, computer system setup and support, finance, ordering and HR.

I am currently studying for my CIPD Level 5 Diploma in People Management and am looking forward to my role developing more into HR as the company grows.
